JESSE UPPAL (she/her) is a New York City-based student and art enthusiast. In high school, she participated in the 92Y Recanati-Kaplan Scholarship Program under the mentorship of Sameena Mitta. She currently studies Art History and Business Economics at Brown University, where she performs in Brown’s tap dance group. Jesse is interested in the behind-the-scenes work which goes into presenting dance, as well as other genres of art. She has completed internships at The Joyce Theater, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and The Jazz Gallery, where she has learned about various facets of nonprofit administration. She is excited to join MeenMoves as a program assistant!
