Raechelle Manalo, from New Jersey, is a recent graduate from the Conservatory of Dance @ Purchase College, SUNY receiving her BFA in Dance and an Arts Management Minor. She has been a featured performer in cutting-edge new work by Joseph Hernandez as well as 20th Century masterpieces by Merce Cunningham and Jose Limon. Raechelle was selected to study abroad at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she performed work by Susan Peacock. Prior to graduation, Manalo made her professional debut with Ballet Hispanico’s BHdos in fall 2019. Manalo is the recipient the President’s Award for Achievement in Dance, Class of 2020 and was selected for this prestigious award by the faculty of the Conservatory of Dance. She was formerly a member of the Paul Taylor Teen Ensemble under the direction of Raegan Wood and has attended intensives at One Body One Career, TransFormation/Danse a la Carte, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Graham School.
